Practicing with a Timeout

Allow captains to call a timeout in practice. Having players "fix it" is more effective than a coach yelling.

  1. Give them a chance to fix it – if they can’t, they run!

  2. Shows them the importance of timeouts.

  3. Find out who your leaders are.
